In 2020 I decided to take the plunge and learn Showit—a drag and drop web design platform that so many other web designers were raving out. And let me tell you—it was worth the hype.
Here are 3 reasons why Showit my new favorite and go-to web design platform for service-based small businesses.
1. It’s a drag and drop web design platform – no coding required.
I mean it—you can design your Showit layout pretty much however you want! Which means your website can stand out and be totally unique to you instead of looking like just another canned template.
The other benefit of this is that making simple updates is super easy, even for someone who’s not a graphic designer. So if you need to swap an image or change out some copy after your site goes live, you won’t have to be hiring a professional every time you need a simple update.
2. You have full control over your desktop and mobile layouts.
In Showit, you design your desktop and mobile layouts separately. Yes, it takes a little more time up front, but the full control you have over each layout can’t be beat. This way, you can be confident that your audience is having the best experience possible no matter what device they’re viewing from. 3. Your blog is a WordPress blog.
Yup—your Showit website integrates seamlessly with a WordPress blog, which you’re given when you sign up for a subscription. So you can customize the way your blog looks with Showit’s drag and drop functionality, with all the ease and benefits of WordPress. Win-win!
