I’ve made this course specifically for non-designers, so you do not need professional design experience to succeed! It will, however, to be helpful to have basic knowledge of Canva.
While I try my best to steer clear of the design jargon, I bring you up to speed on all common industry terms and walk you step by step through how to design like the pros. Plus, if you get stuck on something you’ll have access to me in the private Slack group!
My goal is to set your business up for sucess while you’re still in the beginning stages of growing your business, and BYO Branding was built to be completed within 30 days. I also firmly believe in the power of professional brand strategy & branding, but typically don’t recommend investing in a 1-on-1 professional service with me until you 1) feel comfortable with the investment and 2) have clarity around your offers and audience.

While you can technically use the free version of Canva, I use Canva Pro throughout the course and highly recommend, or else you will find yourself limited in certain areas. (As a small biz owner, having Canva Pro will also benefit you greatly moving forward).
We use Pinterest for gathering inspiration for our moodboards, which you will have to set up a free account for.
You’ll also need to purchase the licenses to the fonts that you choose to use within your branding, but I’ll be providing options that are either free or very affordable.
